Dana moved to Mesa from upstate New York in 2010 and joined the team in 2016. Prior to that, she worked in the optical industry for over 30 years. She gained her valuable experience from corporate and private practices with many different roles from Front End Coordinator to Contact Lens Manager to Optician and now Office Manager. Dana can assist you in any area of your visit and is a great resource!
Outside of work, she's been married for 23 years and raised two boys. Her family runs a small business, and aside from her busy work schedule, she finds time to travel to different racetracks to support her love for drag racing.
Makayla is from Washington state and moved to Arizona in 2020 where she promptly joined our team! She has been in the industry since 2017. Initially, Makayla started out as an Optometric Technician at an optometry office in Idaho and has also worked as an ophthalmic technician. Makayla is our Optical Manager and will assist in helping you pick out your eyeglasses, help adjust your glasses and educate you in what lenses work best for you. Makala enjoys hiking, golfing, and snow skiing in her off time.
Lori has been with our office for 4 years now. She started in the industry in 2019 as an optometric technician and has been with us since. Lori and her husband have a son and will be welcoming a baby girl in January 2023. Lori is a great asset to the practice and will assist you with scheduling appointments, answer any questions you may have regarding insurance benefits or ordering your contacts.
Bella joined our team in February 2022. She is excited to greet you, help you check in and assist with your insurance benefits. She is new to the eye industry but she has proven to be a very valued employee helping our patients in many ways. In her off-time Bella loves to travel, go to concerts, and spend time with friends and family.
Regine has been with us since 2022 and has been a biller/medical coder since 2017. She is a mother of three beautiful children and a newlywed. Regine has been a big help with learning the everchanging rules of billing and coding needs. During her time off, she's an espresso connoisseur and enjoys playing at the park with her children.
Alyssa is one of our optometric technicians. She is originally from the Chicago area where she worked in the service industry for 6 years. Moving to Arizona she decided it was time for something new and different. Some of her goals include going to cosmetology school to become a licensed cosmetologist and one day dreams of opening her own salon. A fun fact about Alyssa is that she loves to snowboard, when she was 15, she won a competition for snowboarding in Wisconsin.
Kathryn is one of the optometric technicians at the Arizona Red Mountain Eyecare office. Before starting here, she worked at another eyecare center as a technician and a medical assistant. She aspires to finish her bachelor’s in public health and continue in the medical field. Kathryn served a church mission in Missouri and Arkansas and enjoys many outdoor activities like camping, hiking and paddle boarding.
Lauryn is one of our opticians and is working towards her certification. Lauryn has a creative side to her and is intrigued with reading books and also writing them! As an aspiring author, Lauryn hopes to one day write a magical book series. In the meantime, she loves working with patients to find the best fit for a frame in style and function, as well as adjust and educate patients on lenses to ensure their custom pair of glasses works for our patients!
Angela is one of the opticians in the office, she came to us from another optical practice. Angela has worked as an optometric technician before and works great with contacts as well. Angela enjoys her role as an optician. She loves helping patients with finding the right frames for the patient. In her free time, she loves to shop, do crafts, watch television and play video games.
